This role sits at the heart of a nationally significant improvement programme, focused on raising the quality and consistency of serious criminal casework. You’ll play a key part in turning strategy into action, helping frontline teams deliver better outcomes and build public confidence.

Role Overview:

• Contract Duration: 3 Months
• Location: London (Hybrid)
• Industry: Public Sector

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the delivery of a complex, multi-workstream improvement programme using robust project management approaches
• Translating a national improvement plan into clear, practical actions that operational teams can embed
• Working closely with operational areas to introduce new processes, guidance, and quality assurance practices
• Building strong relationships across internal teams and external partners to support consistent implementation
• Managing project plans, milestones, and governance reporting to keep delivery on track
• Identifying risks, issues, and dependencies early, escalating where needed to protect outcomes
• Supporting the development of evidence-based case strategies that improve decision-making and timeliness
• Tracking benefits and performance data to demonstrate real, measurable improvements
• Using insight from data and quality reviews to shape next steps and continuous improvement

Main Skills Needed:

• Proven project and change management experience in complex, stakeholder-heavy environments
• Strong ability to engage, influence, and communicate with senior leaders and operational teams
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, and delivery against clear governance frameworks
• Confidence working with data, performance metrics, and benefits realisation
• Organised, structured approach with the ability to balance detail and big-picture thinking
