Supply Planner

We're excited to work again with this trusted partner client in their hunt for an experienced Supply Planner on a fixed term contract, to start asap! A fast paced but friendly business, this is a responsible, sole charge role (albeit with incredible support internally from others who know it well) within an internationally renowned business. We're seeking sharp and experienced applicants from a product related environment to begin as quickly as possible.

While the role is due to a maternity cover, there is a real chance to shine and take ownership here for the successful applicant.

Given the size of the business, it would be helpful for candidates to have had previous experience of an international operation, but also bring the vibe of an SME, whereby everyone is extremely hands-on, friendly and team oriented. An operation that is slick and multifaceted, with lots of elements of complexity within the supply chain for someone to get their teeth stuck into, the environment here is exciting and the people are lovely - commercially sharp but warm and friendly with it.

Key duties include:

• Responsibility for the supply of finished goods and bulk assemblies in line with global service and inventory goals.
• Resolving part shortages, assisting in allocations of limited components, and preventing potential schedule interruptions.
• Systems upkeep to ensure that all data in systems is accurate and stock levels are monitored at all times.
• Exploring stock and supply forecasting to maximise product availability.
• Building relationships and key account management.
• Support for New Product launches and integration to the supply chain.

If you're an experienced candidate from a product supply chain background, living locally to the client, we'd love to hear from you. They're a business which operate with SAP at the fore so experience of this as a package would also be advantageous.
