Team Coordinator 6 Month Contract | £180 - £200 per day (umbrella) | Birmingham, Hybrid

We are recruiting for an experienced Team Assistant to support a high-performing directorate within a major infrastructure organisation. This role requires someone highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple senior stakeholders. You will play a key part in coordinating diaries, meetings, documentation and day-to-day operations across a busy team delivering large-scale programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator or coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment and is available to start at short notice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate multiple senior team members’ diaries, meetings and appointments
  • Prepare meeting papers, documentation and follow up on agreed actions
  • Format and produce presentations for senior leadership meetings
  • Coordinate internal communications and team briefings
  • Manage travel and accommodation bookings in line with guidelines
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring a professional response
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure documentation is easily accessible
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Update and maintain financial records using internal system

Essential Skillset

  • Strong IT skills, including full use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • Experience booking travel, accommodation and managing logistics
  • Confident preparing meeting documentation and taking minutes
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise with senior stakeholders

Package

  • £180–£200 per day (Umbrella)
  • 6-month contract
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in Birmingham office, 2 days from home
