About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing manufacturing based near Chester. We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join the team covering a maternity cover on an exciting project. This role offers a unique chance to play a key part in establishing and improving invoicing procedures within a growing finance function.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and wants to make a tangible impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce customer invoices, working closely with Sales and Customer Service teams
- Produce customer credit notes
- Support the Treasury team with credit control activities
- Assist with daily cash transactions
- Verify and request new customer set-ups
- Support the Accounting Manager and wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Desired Skills & Experience
- Confident and driven individual with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently
- High level of attention to detail
- Good understanding of VAT
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
