Head of Finance

We are pleased to be exclusively partnering with a global consultancy operating in the tech space who are looking for a hands-on Head of Finance for a maternity cover contract for 12-15 months duration.Overseeing an autonomous team of 8 in the UK plus two smaller overseas subsidiaries, you will work very closely with the COO, CCO and the wider leadership team and whilst this is not a strategic role, you will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to the team to ensure alignment with business objectives.Key responsibilities will be as follows:Managing global cashflow across 7 different banksMonitoring invoicing and unbilled with revenue managersManage UK & subsidiary deadlines including VAT, tax instalments & other compliance requirementsOversee & manage monthly payment deadlinesCoordinate the annual auditPrepare intercompany invoicing for all subsidiary entities & joint venturesCoordinate information for PAYE & R&D tax requirementsEnsure regular management reporting and accuracy.Be the primary contact for business unit and client teams and all external accountants for any accounting and tax queriesReview and presentation of monthly management accounts & dashboard analysisPrepare & present cashflow analysisPrepare the base rates for internal rate card and monitor quarterly progressWork closely with COO to prepare quarterly forecastPrepare profit share calculations & forecasts when requiredYou will ideally be Qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) at least 4-5 years PQE, with exceptional data analysis skills gained in a multi-currency, global environment preferably within tech or professional services.
