- Specialist ProvisionBromleyMonday–Friday 8:30am–3:30pm (School Hours)Start Date: January 2026Pay: £90 - £110 per dayWe are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming specialist provision attached to a mainstream school inBromley, seeking akind, patient, and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistantto join their team fromJanuary 2026.This is a1:1 support roleworking closely with a pupil inKey Stage 1. Although the pupil is of KS1 age, their developmental stage is that of a baby aged approximately6–12 months. The pupil ispre-verbaland requires consistent, nurturing support throughout the school day.This role would suit someone who is deeply compassionate and understands the importance of creating a calm, safe, and trusting environment. The pupil can experience moments of distress, which may includescreaming or biting, and will benefit from an adult who can respond with patience, reassurance, and confidence.Your role will include:Providing dedicated1:1 supportwithin a specialist provisionSupporting a pupil withcomplex SEND needsOffering emotional regulation and reassurance during challenging momentsSupporting withpersonal carein a respectful and dignified wayWorking collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionalsHelping to create a structured, nurturing, and positive learning environmentWe are looking for someone who:Hasprevious experience working in SEN school settingsIs confident supporting pupils withcomplex needs and behavioursIs calm, resilient, and able to build trusting relationshipsIs willing and comfortable carrying outpersonal careHas a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsSafeguarding & Compliance:Avalid DBSis requiredIf you do not hold a DBS issued within the last year, or it is not registered on theDBS Update Service, you will be required to apply for a new oneReference checkswill be completed as part of the recruitment processThis is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in a child’s daily life and development within a supportive school environment.If you are caring, committed, and looking for a role where your work truly matters, we would love to hear from you.
