A senior Business Analyst to support a major underwriting and catastrophe modelling transformation within a global speciality insurer. The role will focus on shaping a long-term road map for CAT modelling and underwriting data capabilities, alongside delivering near-term improvements to SOV data ingestion and automation.undertaking a strategic enhancement of its catastrophe modelling and underwriting data capabilities, supporting both existing lines of business and a potential move into Property D&F.This role will play a critical role across two major deliverable:Building a long-term roadmap for CAT modelling, data ingestion, and underwriting workflow improvements.Delivering tactical and strategic improvements to SOV data cleansing, automation, and system integration, including running an RFI/RFP and selecting a vendor by end of Q1.EssentialProven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Change Lead within insurance or financial services.Strong understanding of underwriting journeys, preferably within property or specialty insurance.Hands-on experience running RFI/RFP processes, including vendor evaluation and selection.Experience defining data extraction, cleansing, and automation requirements.Good working understanding of CAT modelling fundamentals (not a modeller, but understands how it's used and why).Strong systems integration experience, including:Understanding how platforms communicateAPI-based integrationsExperience working across multiple systems (PAS, workbenches, modelling tools).Excellent stakeholder management skills, including senior executive-facing outputs.Ability to articulate TO-BE processes and business benefits clearly and credibly.DesirableExperience with Verisk products (Eclipse, TOUCHSTONE).Exposure to Property D&F or expansion into new insurance products.Experience working in global operating models with US-based technology ownership.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
