- Driffield - HybridMy customer is currently seeking an experiencedInfrastructure Engineerto join their team and support the core infrastructure operations.This role is primarily focused onday-to-day support and BAU (Business as Usual) requests. The successful infrastructure engineer will be responsible for providing support for key business system, services and users.Key Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer:Provide daily support across on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure environmentsRespond to BAU requests, incidents, and service tickets in a timely and professional mannerOversee the existing IT infrastructure including cloud and virtual environments.Maintain the backup and recovery environment for business continuity.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery when requiredDocument configurations, procedures, and best practicesSkills and Experience required from the Infrastructure Engineer:Must have experience supporting business infrastructure.Must have extensive exposure to the Microsoft stack including Office 365Must have working knowledge of virtualisation (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)Skills within Cloud and Networking are desirable but not essential.Familiarity with ITIL processes and working in a structured support environment.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.The Infrastructure Engineer is required to be onsite, 3 days a week in Driffield to speak with VIQU IT in confidence.
