You will play a key role in supporting theOne Click Currencyprogramme - a strategic initiative designed to simplify and accelerate currency transactions across global markets.This position offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems in a highly regulated environment, ensuring stability, security, and performance of Unix-based platforms that underpin banking operations worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintainUnix/Linux systemsacross multiple environments.Implement and managesystem upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.Support theOne Click Currencyprogramme by ensuring robust infrastructure and seamless integration with banking applications.Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis.Collaborate withsecurity and compliance teamsto meet global banking standards.Automate operational tasks usingshell scriptingand other tools.Participate indisaster recovery planningand execution.Skills & ExperienceProven experience as aUnix/Linux Administratorin enterprise-scale environments.Strong knowledge ofRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)or similar distributions.Proficiency inshell scripting(Bash, Korn) and automation.Familiarity withITIL processes, change management, and incident resolution.Experience withhigh-availability systems, clustering, and performance tuning.Exposure tocloud platforms(Azure or AWS) is desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a regulated financial environment.Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
