Healthcare Procurement Consultant Lead

XXXX XXXX is in partnership with an industry leading digital services business. Due to continued growth and acquisition, they are keen to appoint a Procurement Consultant on a 6-month contract. Fully Remote this is a home-based role.As a Procurement Consultant, you will scope and build a TPAF and Procurement function. It will be built to effectively to service the due diligence and safety needs of the business with an assurance and risk-based structure. Ensuring also it is resourced to meet evolving group needs.You will balance strategic deliverables (framework, policies, risk register management) with operational output (contract management, audits and dashboard requirements).Healthcare Procurement Consultant (Home Based) Duties:1. Procurement Strategy & GovernanceEstablish procurement governance framework - approval processes, delegation of authority and reporting linesDraft/implement policies & procedures for ethical sourcing, sustainability and compliance with NHS/DHSE standards2. Supplier & Third-Party AssuranceCreate supplier assurance framework - risk assessment, due diligenceEstablish requirements for conducting supplier audits3. Contracts & ComplianceIdentify requirements for supplier contracts - SLA, metricsDevelop contract templates, legal/compliance assurance reports4. Financial & Value DeliveryTPAF strategy to deliver cost savingsEstablish process required for provision of benchmarking analysis with market rates/healthcare procurement best practise5. Risk Management & AssuranceDevelop third-parry risk management frameworkCritical supplier - risk mitigation plans6.
