Job Tittle:Proxy Network EngineerLocation:Chester, Bromley and Camberley (3 days a week on-site)Contract Length:12 MonthsWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, standard office hours with out of hours requirementRate:Circa £600/DayStatus:Inside IR35Role Overview:The role is within the EMEA Network Engineering Proxy Services Team, working on complex technical designs that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. This job facilitates deployment of technical solutions by deg, engineering and implementing configuration across EMEA network infrastructure.SkillsProven experience as a Network Security Engineer.Proven experience of working with Bluecoat Proxy SG (Symantec) and/or McAfee Web Gateway (Trellix SkyHigh)Knowledge and experience of working with SSL traffic Decryption and Inspection either On-Proxy or 3rd Party (F5 SSLO, Radware Alteon)Ability to base build and configure Network Proxies to given standardsKnowledge and experience of working with and creating automation scriptsStrong DMZ architecture and engineering ExperienceIn-depth knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.Working knowledge of DNSStrong communication and technical analytical skillsNetwork security and complianceExperience in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.A good strong team player but capable of self-workingStrong client focusResponsibilities:Eliciting, analysing and documenting technical application and service requirementsWorking with multiple technical teams to identify end to end solutions that balance business, security, availability and resiliency requirements.Creating and documenting designs utilizing design patterns and standard approaches to best meet requirements.Configuration of devices to deploying new services into productionParticipating in the prioritization and scheduling of implementation activities.Managing stakeholder requirementsActive participation in the Change Management processAssisting with the troubleshooting of existing and new implementations to resolve issues identified in testing and improve services.Identifying / managing the mitigation of risks within the operational environment.Ensuring documentation is updated to reflect new additions to or modifications in the environment and handed into Operations successfully.Why Join Us?Work in a vibrant and dynamic environment with a team of talented professionals.Contribute to innovative projects that make a real difference.Enjoy a full-time schedule with flexibility and a supportive culture.Grow your skills and advance your career in a leading organisation.If you're ready to embark on an exciting journey and make a significant impact, !
