Then look no further, this is what you have been looking for!Procurement Officer Benefits20 days holiday plus bank holidays.Holiday increases each year by 1 day, up to 25 days.Extra days holiday for your birthday (after 1 year).Pension.Employee-Owned Trust (after 1 year).Local free car parking (not on-site).Hours - Monday to Thursdays 8.30am to 5pm, Fridays 8.30am to 4.30 pm, with 1 hour lunch daily, working 37 hours per week.Procurement Officer ResponsibilitiesReporting into the Managing Director, working in a role that is varied, primarily focused on procurement, with some transport responsibilities including logistics and driving laws.Open to learning, as full training and support will be provided to learn all aspects of the role.Order required volume of products using sales and forecasting available.Monitor unavailability, wastage and 100% availability.Actively develop relationships with all suppliers.Review/approve invoice queries.Responsible for Procurement of production, sales & service materials.Project purchasing resulting in budgeted cost savings.Communicate plans and forecasts to internal stakeholders.Maintain company vehicles in line with legal requirements (MOT’s, Insurance, & tax).Maintain a vehicle file for all company vehicle documentation, including V5 etc.Download, monitor, and manage drivers’ tachographs.Settle dart charges, congestion charges and other tolls.Procurement Officer RequirementsAbility to commit to a 12-month maternity cover contract.3+ years’ experience in procurement/purchasing/buying/supply chain planning.An understanding of Customer Service and Finance.Good IT systems knowledge, including Excel, and able to learn new software packages.Confidence to learn about manufacturing, logistics, and driving laws.Experience in manufacturing will be highly beneficial but not essential.Experience in fleet/logistics/driving laws will be highly beneficial but not essential., we look forward to hearing from you!
