- Inside IR35We are seeking an experiencedBusiness Analyst (Cards & Payments)to join a leading banking client on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and delivery of change initiatives within the cards and payments domain. You will work closely with product, technology, and operations teams to gather business requirements, analyse current processes, and ensure smooth delivery of regulatory and business-driven projects.Role Overview:Job Title:Cards & Payments Business Analyst (Banking)Location:Northampton/Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite (non-negotiable)Contract Type:ContractDuration:12 months initialSector:BankingKey Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst within the Banking or Financial Services sector.Strong background in Cards and Payments (credit/debit cards, payment gateways, settlement systems, etc.).Solid understanding of end-to-end payment processes, systems, and data flows.Knowledge of payment schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS).Experience working within Agile delivery environments.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements within the UK banking landscape.Nice to HaveExperience with ISO 20022 or SWIFT messaging standards.Exposure to Open Banking or Digital Payments projects.Knowledge of API integration in financial systems.Please feel free to contact myself
