Our software products are essential cornerstones for the success of our BioPharma instruments. The team develops and maintains software products for Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) systems including embedded operating system, embedded software and the Insight software platform. In addition to instrument control functionality, the Insight software platform also contains a machine learning module for data evaluation that helps customers analyse molecular interaction data efficiently.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to work with a software team consisting of 12 employees in Uppsala with experience ranging from 1 to 30 years.

Om uppdraget

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer Consultant with 4–7 years of experience to join the team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team including UX designers, application specialists and hardware developers. Your software expertise will be key in driving quality across the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement new features in software products
• Support the migration from C#.NET Framework to.NET Core
• Build and maintain Windows-based desktop applications with.NET Core and SQL
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated GUI testing using an in-house test framework
• Ensure stability and reliability of GUI test builds (green builds)

Kravprofil

We’re looking for a candidate who brings:

• Proven experience in migrating applications from C#.NET Framework to.NET Core
• Strong proficiency in C# and.NET technologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work in a cross-functional team
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
