This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to work in a broad and business-oriented role in an international environment, as part of a subsidiary within a Swedish publicly listed group.

As Head of Business Control, you will be responsible for both the strategic and operational aspects of financial analysis. The role is a key position within the company, and you will play an important part in driving the business forward. You will bring both a financial and a commercial perspective, act as a close right hand to the CEO, and be a member of Mediaplanet’s global management team. The role also includes personnel responsibility for a UK-based Financial Controller, where the focus is on fostering a strong collaboration to further develop and enhance financial processes.

You will have a broad range of contact points across the organization and work closely with local MDs and finance managers responsible for the accounting of their respective countries, as well as sales teams, production, Mediaplanet management and Caybon’s CFO and Group Controller.

Media planet’s head office is located on Birger Jarlsgatan in central Stockholm, in modern and inspiring premises characterized by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will report to the CEO of Mediaplanet.

Your tasks include:

• Be responsible for the budget and forecasting process and ensuring that it is solid.
• Cost and revenue analysis.
• Be responsible for the business planning process.
• Develop and manage KPIs and monthly reporting processes.
• Monitor the business against operational and financial targets and adjust actions and investments where necessary to ensure that the business grows and improves profitability.
• Ensure that market data is accurately reflected in the CRM system and that it is used in an optimal way across the organization.
• Identify value creation opportunities to further develop the business and improve profitability.
• Extract performance metrics from all geographic areas and provide the senior management team of Mediaplanet and Caybon with timely management review reports.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded, driven individual who pays attention to detail and is highly skilled in data analysis and reporting, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Simply, someone who creates impact for the company in the finance department. You need to have an operational and financial understanding of the business and a strategic business outlook.

When it comes to your experience, we expect you to have an academic degree in finance, business administration, or a similar field. We believe you have at least 5–7 years of experience in Business Control and a background from a sales‑driven industry. You are accustomed to working in a dynamic environment in an international context. You have strong skills in Excel and experience working with a CRM system in your role as a Business Controller. To succeed in this role, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and are comfortable communicating in Swedish.
