About the Assignment You will join an automotive environment where steering system software is continuously refined through supplier collaboration, bug fixes, and updates linked to advanced driver support functionality. The assignment focuses on requirements work for steering gear software, with responsibility for keeping structures, documentation, and technical baselines aligned as changes are introduced. You will work close to both internal stakeholders and suppliers, helping ensure high quality in a safety-critical area. Job DescriptionYou will create and update CarWeaver structures for steering gear software. You will update SSDS and SDB for changes related to bug fixes and Pilot Assist Plus. You will drive software engineering activities connected to base tech deviations in alignment with the internal BT team. You will work with engineering documentation and supplier-facing software requirements. You will contribute to continuous improvements in software quality and architecture for the steering system. You will support work related to quality, safety, and compliance in the software development flow. RequirementsM.Sc. in Controls and Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent. Several years of hands-on experience in software development. Experience with engineering documentation and requirements. Mandatory knowledge of CarWeaver for software requirements management. Experience in software quality assurance. Experience in project management. Experience in supplier management. Knowledge of FMEA, system safety, and cybersecurity. Fluent English, spoken and written. B driving license and regular driving experience. Ability to complete a basic background check before start. Nice to haveExperience with CarCom for SSDS and diagnostics requirements. Experience with Elektra for signal database work.
