Assignment Description We are looking for a Senior UX Designer What You Will Work On Own and drive the UX strategy for the Internal Developer Portal Design and optimize end-to-end developer journeys (onboarding, CI/CD, deployments, troubleshooting) Identify friction points and create streamlined, intuitive workflows Design UX for Backstage plugins and platform components Create interfaces for: Software catalog Golden path templates CI/CD and deployment visibility DevSecOps insights (SAST, SCA, SBOM, compliance) Infrastructure provisioning Design AI-assisted developer experiences (LLM tools, search, onboarding) Ensure transparency, trust, and usability in AI interactions Build and maintain design systems and reusable components Conduct user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption and usability improvements What You Bring 12+ years of experience in UX/Product Design Experience deg for Backstage or similar developer portals Strong understanding of developer workflows and DevOps practices Proven experience deg for complex technical systems Expertise in: User research and journey mapping Information architecture Interaction design Prototyping (Figma or similar) Design systems Experience simplifying enterprise or platform-level products Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
