About the Assignment You will join a cross-functional team building an AI-powered service that helps users quickly detect and understand machine health deviations. The solution combines backend services, data flows, and AI/ML components in a complex industrial environment where quality, reliability, and robustness are critical. You will work closely with data scientists, backend developers, and product specialists, and you will have the opportunity to influence test strategy, coverage, and architectural quality across the full product lifecycle. This is an exciting assignment if you want to work with modern backend, data, and AI testing in a setting where your contribution has clear impact from the start. Job DescriptionYou design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test suites for backend and platform services. You execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across backend components. You validate data ingestion, ETL pipelines, and data transformations across batch and streaming architectures. You ensure the correctness and integrity of sensor and time-series data flowing through the platform. You test AI/ML inference pipelines, including feature generation, model integration, and output correctness. You reproduce, diagnose, and document defects with clear traceability and actionable detail. You build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated test execution. You prepare and improve test setups in cloud-based environments using Docker and AWS. You contribute to backlog refinement, testability, acceptance criteria, and continuous improvements in Agile ways of working. RequirementsAt least 3–5 years of experience in software testing. Experience in backend-oriented testing within complex or industrial systems. Hands-on experience with Karate or similar API and automation testing frameworks. Understanding of message-queuing technologies such as MQTT. Experience with Linux, Python, and Bash. Experience with AWS, Docker, Docker Compose, and Git. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of the ML lifecycle and testing AI and data-oriented applications. Knowledge of cybersecurity risks related to digital product security. Ability to work in autonomous Agile teams with shared ownership. Fluent in English, spoken and written. Nice to haveUnderstanding of Protocol Buffers (protobuf). Experience testing software, web applications, web services, or mobile apps on iOS and Android. Experience with Windows. Experience with Java or other programming languages. Experience with Azure Cloud. Experience with Kubernetes or EKS. Experience with GitHub Actions.
