Airtable Database Architecture + Migration from Excel

run a Financial Management Services company and we currently operate from a complex Excel master spreadsheet tracking participant budgets, payroll (via Paychex), service codes, and vendor payments. We are growing (28 clients / 60 employees) and planning for significant scale. I want to replace Excel entirely with a properly structured Airtable base that can: • Link participants, employees, service codes, and spending plans • Support read-only client views (portal-ready structure) This is not a simple spreadsheet import. I need clean relational database architecture that can scale.
