Margin Reporting System

• Multi-Source API Data Integration into On-Prem SQL Database

Overview

We want to build an automated margin reporting system that pulls commercial and operational data from multiple sources via API, standardises it, and stores it in a SQL database hosted on our on-site server. This database will then be used to report margins across products, customers, and orders.

The goal is to replace manual reporting and create a reliable “single source of truth” for margin analysis.

Objectives

Pull data from multiple platforms via API on a schedule

Store raw + cleaned data in a structured SQL database

Calculate margin metrics consistently

Produce reporting-ready tables/views for Power BI / Excel

• Shopware (orders, customers, products, pricing)

• Helm / Neuro by despatch company
• Ebay / amazon and other marketplaces
