Project Overview

I’m building a small but ambitious SaaS product: an AI-powered SEO meta generator for small businesses, Shopify stores, and WordPress users.

The app will take user input (keywords or URLs) and generate SEO-optimized titles and meta descriptions using AI (OpenAI API). Later, the app will connect directly to WordPress and Shopify for publishing.

For now, I need help building the frontend portion of the MVP.

This is the first milestone of a long-term project. I’m starting with a very limited budget because I recently moved to the US and am bootstrapping my business, but I intend to continue and increase rates for future contracts as revenue comes in.

What You’ll Build (MVP Frontend)

Core UI Pages

  1. Dashboard
  • List of recent generations
  • Basic stats (optional)
  1. SEO Generator Page
  • Input: keyword or URL
  • Options: tone (friendly / professional / playful)
  • Button → call backend API
  • Display list of generated titles + meta descriptions
  • Ability to edit, copy, or approve items
  1. Bulk Input Page
  • Paste or upload multiple keywords
  • Display generated results in table/list format
  1. Integrations Page
  • UI for connecting Shopify or WordPress
  • OAuth buttons (backend will handle logic)

Tech Stack Required

  • React
  • Next.js
  • Zustand (for global state management)
  • Tailwind CSS (preferred)
  • Basic API integration with backend endpoints (JSON)

Responsibilities

  • Build clean, responsive UI components from scratch
  • Implement state management with Zustand
  • Integrate with backend endpoints (I will provide APIs)
  • Ensure good UX for generating and editing SEO content
  • Follow the provided wireframes (or help improve them)
  • Use clean code and reusable components

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with Shopify or WordPress admin UI patterns
  • Familiarity with OpenAI API responses
  • Basic understanding of SEO meta tags
  • Ability to think about UX improvements

  • Solid React + Next.js experience
  • Comfortable working with API endpoints
  • Detail-oriented with clean coding style
  • Can communicate clearly and reliably
  • Open to long-term collaboration

Budget Statement (Important)

This first phase is limited to $15/hr because I’m in a tight financial situation while starting fresh in the US and building my business from scratch.

However:

**This is NOT a one-time project.

As soon as revenue begins or I secure more budget, I will increase your hourly rate significantly.**
