Business Development Manager
- EMEA Dela Location: Nordic Region (Remote/Flexible) Job Purpose: The Business Development Manager will develop strategic relationships within target customers across the EMEA region (Nordic region being the prime) to drive new business opportunities. This role is critical to Sanmina’s growth in high-potential sectors, particularly in AI infrastructure and data centers, alongside our established presence in automotive, industrial/clean tech, defense, and medical markets. Nature of Duties:
- Deploy global account strategy in conjunction with senior leadership to achieve business objectives across EMEA.
- Aggressively pursue EMS and component business, with a strong emphasis on emerging growth.
- Build and execute customer engagement plans to increase Sanmina’s share in both established and new verticals.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business in alignment with set revenue targets; leverage deep industry knowledge and networks to open new doors.
- Act as a strategic partner—owning the relationship beyond initial wins to expand existing accounts and uncover new opportunities.
- Manage RFQ processes with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and competitive submissions.
- Communicate customer feedback and market intelligence to internal teams to support solution development and operational alignment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in sales systems, including opportunity tracking, forecasts, and activity logs.
- Represent Sanmina at industry events, customer meetings, and key commercial engagements across the region. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably with revenue responsibilities exceeding $10M annually.
- Strong background in the CM/EMS industry, in high-tech manufacturing and an understanding of global supply chains.
- Demonstrated success in high-growth sectors including communications, industrial/clean tech, medical, military, and ideally AI infrastructure and/or data centers.
- Highly motivated self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, strong commercial instincts, and a high level of professional integrity.
- Proven ability to develop and close new accounts in competitive environments.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and remote collaboration tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Experience operating across remote, cross-functional teams within large matrix organizations.
- Project management capability with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
