Nimbus Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of leisure motorboats and workboats, represented by the brands: Alukin, Aquador, EdgeWater, Falcon, Nimbus, and Paragon. The company began its operations in 1968 on the quay in Långedrag, driven then as now by a passion for creating memorable experiences at sea for discerning boat owners. Nimbus Group is on an exciting growth journey and is now recruiting a Group CFO to play a key role in the next phase of the company’s development.

As Group CFO, you will be a key member of the company’s executive management team, with overall responsibility for leading and developing the Group’s financial management and for creating conditions for continued growth and profitability. In close collaboration with the CEO, the Board and Group Management, you will drive the development of the company’s business model and ensure that financial targets, operational performance and business strategies are aligned. You will establish and implement policies, processes and structures that secure sound internal control, effective corporate governance and regulatory compliance, while also supporting operational efficiency and cost effectiveness. A central part of the role is to further develop business controlling by increasing visibility, translating financial data into clear, actionable insights and communicating the story behind the numbers.

As CFO, you report to the CEO, are part of the executive management team, and will be based at the Group’s office in Gothenburg. You will lead an international team within Accounting, Controlling, Financing, IT and IR.

You have high integrity and a strong sense of accountability, and are used to acting confidently and professionally in contacts with the Board, owners and external stakeholders.

Nimbus Group produces and markets powerboats which includes the brands Alukin, Aquador, EdgeWater, Falcon, Nimbus and Paragon Yachts. Sales are made through dealer networks and the largest markets are the Nordic region, Europe and the USA. During 2023, the Group strengthened its position on the important North American market through the acquisition of the premium powerboat manufacturer EdgeWater Power Boats. In 2024, the Group had sales of SEK 1,619 million and 377 employees. Operations are conducted in Sweden, Finland, Poland, England, Norway and the USA. Nimbus Group has been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm First North since February 2021.
