Strategic Account Manager – Marine Digital Operations

In this role, you will act as the strategic interface between our digital offerings and the customer’s operational reality—working closely with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, unlock value, and champion smarter ways of working powered by our digital solution 4insight®. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection between technology, industry expertise, and relationship-building. You will work inside the customer’s organization, understand their workflows, influence how they engage with data-driven decision support and drive digital transformation. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking an experienced professional who understands both the human and the technical sides of digital transformation—and who is motivated by helping organizations accelerate their move to the digital age for their own benefit as well as their customers. You might have experience from digital transformation programs, as an account manager, digital transformation or from a company delivering advanced technical solutions. Equally important is your ability to navigate complex organizations, communicate clearly, build trust, and drive alignment around digital initiatives. Your Mission To succeed in this role, you will engage with client executives to secure alignment and support for digital initiatives, while also working closely with operational teams, engineers, and planners to drive adoption on the ground. You’ll uncover opportunities, remove barriers, and work side-by-side with the customer to ensure 4insight® deliver measurable value. Internally, you will act as the customer’s voice—bringing insights into product teams and shaping the evolution of our digital capabilities. Responsibilities Act as the strategic advisor to key customer stakeholders, helping them adopt and scale digital tools. Develop and communicate a clear vision for how data, models, digital workflows and standardized analytics can support planning, execution, and continuous learning Drive engagement across customers—from early-phase engineering to offshore execution Perform stakeholder mapping and build strong relationships at multiple organizational levels Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases where digital transformation can create measurable operational value. Translate technical features into business outcomes. Collaborate closely with customer engineers to understand workflows, operational constraints, and decision-making processes Provide structured feedback into 4Subsea’s product development teams, shaping the future of our offerings Plan and facilitate workshops that turn challenges and ideas into concrete actions Maintain consistent on-site engagement with customers to build trust and understand the operational context Requirements 8+ years of experience with digital products, (SaaS, cloud solutions, IoT, analytics, AI, or operational software), management consulting, industry consulting or business development. Experience driving digital transformation programs Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders Ability to navigate complex organizations and drive adoption of digital and data-driven workflows Experience working in or with large engineering, EPCI, or offshore service organizations is not a requirement, but valuable.
