On-Site IT Support Technician

Description

We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented On-Site Support (OSS) Technician L1/L2 to join our team in Oslo. You will provide technical support to end users, ensuring smooth daily operations in a dynamic and multicultural environment. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 and will report directly to your supervisor in France & Portugal. Your responsibilities: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 on-site technical support for hardware, software, and workplace services Manage incidents and service requests through Jira and other ticketing systems Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, peripherals, and office IT equipment Perform user and access management tasks within Active Directory Support meeting rooms, videoconferencing systems, and basic network/printing issues Prepare and deploy IT equipment (imaging, configuration, replacements) Ensure all requests are properly documented, prioritized, and escalated when necessary Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, international environment Collaborate closely with remote support teams in France and Portugal Your qualifications: Proven experience as a Level 1/Level 2 support technician Strong knowledge of Jira or similar ticketing tools Hands-on experience with Windows environments, AD, and end-user devices Excellent communication skills in English; local language proficiency is a plus Customer-focused, organized, and able to work autonomously We offer you: The opportunity to work in a modern IT environment with a strong drive to innovate technologically An exciting position in the heart of one of the biggest media and tech companies in Norway Great team with broad knowledge in collaborative tools Plenty of challenges and opportunities Part of a global Service Desk team with great colleagues Exciting challenges as well as opportunities Personal development plan Involvement in different projects
