About the Company & the Role: Øglænd System designs and supplies multi-discipline modular bolted solutions for Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC and piping disciplines for the Energy Business. As a Business Developer at Øglænd System, you will be focusing on a portfolio of customers important for Øglænd & Hilti business. You will create a tailored customer strategy and lead its execution to increase adoption of Øglænd / Hilti solutions. You will also be part of a local & regional team associated with these account(s). Responsibilities & Accountabilities: As part of the role, you will be: Accountable for the development of accounts operating in the Energy business through account standardization, project specification, sales development (direct or indirect) and multi-level relationship management. Main focus on Engineering houses. Work with Engineering houses and Design offices to get Hilti / OS specified early into projects Responsible for bringing market intelligence inputs Responsibilities includes travelling domestically and to a lesser importance abroad when needed. A few things to be good at: Engineering degree (minimum bachelor) and experience in an engineering company in the offshore industry Communication skills: Creation of trust through active listening, influencing with leadership and not authority, negotiation skills. Technical skills: Willing and interested to get into the details. Experience with design solutions. Identify, understand and deliver sharp high-level system selling value proposition and ready to go into the details. Long-Term Strategic Thinking Able to influence internal and external stakeholders around the strategy while understanding external stakeholders’ pain points and trends to adjust it if need be. Self-driven and working autonomously: Create his own planning and tasks to reach the targets.
