Contract Manager

Jefferson Wells is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced consultant within Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (SCM). This is a 6-month assignment with a strong focus on cost reduction and procurement optimization. Experience in strategic sourcing and digitalization of purchasing processes will be highly valued. Tasks and Responsibilities Participate in ongoing cost-reduction initiatives across active projects. Execute rapid negotiations and support contract management. Conduct procurement activities in collaboration with project and purchasing teams. Perform cost analyses and identify savings opportunities. Consolidate supplier base and bundle volumes and categories. Benchmark suppliers to identify improvement potential and competitive pricing. Assess and recommend digital tools to streamline and automate procurement processes. Prepare documentation and reports on savings, supplier status, and contract follow-up. Background and Qualifications Solid experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, preferably within technical industries. Proven track record of cost-saving initiatives and strategic sourcing. Hands-on experience with contract negotiations, supplier management, and category leadership. Familiarity with digitalization of procurement processes and implementation of relevant tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Availability to work on-site at the client’s office in Skien at least 3 days per week.
