Our solutions are key to ensure efficient execution of business projects within oil & gas, wind energy and transformation into new business areas. This is your chance to work with modern technology in an exciting industry About the position You’ll be part of Application Management leadership, working closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. Responsibilities and tasks include Drive the DevOps area in line with strategy and business needs, staying on top of tech trends and improvements Define the vision, set the strategy, and deliver the roadmap for DevOps Take part in IT architecture discussions and own the development platform, including governance and standards Lead and develop a skilled IT team, ensuring growth and managing budgets Build strong collaboration with stakeholders and secure company-wide adoption of new cloud services Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement Qualifications Master or Bachelor in Information technology, engineering, economy or similar. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications Strong knowledge of emerging tech and trends, with solid analytical and technical skills Minimum 3 years’ experience with development tools and technologies (MS Azure, Kubernetes, React, GitHub, etc.) At least 5 years in IT, including hands-on experience with Agile development and DevOps principles Leadership experience and/or IT project management background is an advantage Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken Personal qualities Proactive and takes initiative when facing new tasks and challenges Works independently and takes ownership of responsibilities Team-oriented with a collaborative and positive attitude Goal-driven and plan-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and follow throug Become our colleague Aibel offers many career opportunities.
