Production & Deployment Engineer

With a small, highly skilled team and rapid growth ahead, we are building up our in-house production and deployment capability and are looking for 3 new hands-on Production & Deployment Engineers who enjoy working close to both hardware and customers. The Role As a Production & Deployment Engineer, you'll be at the heart of bringing cutting-edge robots to life from building and scaling production processes to deploying and supporting systems at customer sites across Europe. You'll get to work directly with mechanical, electrical, and mechatronics systems, using and shaping the tools and processes that make our robots reliable and robust. What You'll Do Production & Manufacturing Build and assemble advanced robotic systems, working across mechanical, electrical, and mechatronics domains. Use and help refine in-house assembly, test, calibration tools, and documentation. Shape evolving production processes and workflows, providing feedback to R&D to improve manufacturability. Work with lightweight ERP and production tracking systems, gaining experience in operational processes. Deployment & Field Support Install, test, commission, and maintain robots at customer sites, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues. Support customers through training, technical guidance, and on-site assistance. Use on-robot diagnostics, commissioning tools, and remote support systems to ensure reliable operation. Travel Travel to customer sites at international locations, giving you exposure to international projects and operational environments. What You Bring 3-7 years of hands-on experience, or senior engineers who thrive in a fast-moving startup environment are also encouraged to apply Hands-on experience in production, assembly, field service, or similar roles. Degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Strong practical skills and a solution-oriented mindset. Comfort working independently and collaboratively across teams. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Valid driver's license (class B). Willingness to travel. Nice to Have Experience with PLCs, control systems, or software configuration. Background in robotics, automation, aviation, or industrial machinery. Experience with remote diagnostics or technical support. Familiarity with autonomous mobile robotics platforms. Additional languages (English required; German, French, or Spanish are a plus).
