What you will work on: Own and manage the full lifecycle of software assets, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, optimization, and retirement Ensure compliance with complex software licensing agreements involving multiple service owners Monitor, assess, and enforce license compliance through regular proactive and reactive audits and reviews Analyze software usage and licensing data to identify cost optimization opportunities and improve license utilization Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies related to legal, financial, and operational licensing risks Collaborate with software vendors to manage renewals, resolve compliance issues, and achieve optimal licensing outcomes Prepare and present reports on software asset management and license compliance for senior management, including insights and improvement recommendations Develop, maintain, and continuously improve policies and procedures related to software asset management and license compliance Conduct training sessions and awareness initiatives to ensure organizational adherence to licensing policies Work closely with IT infrastructure, application service managers, cyber security, and other cross-functional teams to ensure integrated software asset management practices What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field 10+ years of experience in software asset management, license compliance, or a related discipline Strong knowledge of software licensing agreements, compliance requirements, and industry best practices Proven experience managing large and complex licensing agreements across multiple stakeholders Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex licensing data and agreements Strong communication and negotiation skills when working with vendors and internal stakeholders High attention to detail and accuracy in managing software assets and compliance records Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address compliance risks early Collaborative, team-oriented approach with experience working in cross-functional environments Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
