Mission Alliance is seeking a skilled Grants & Partnerships Coordinator to support our efforts to expand and diversify institutional and corporate funding. We are looking for an advisor with experience in proposal development, donor engagement, and partnership coordination across international programmes. You will collaborate with colleagues across our global network to coordinate funding proposals, cultivate donor and private sector relationships, strengthen internal systems, and support country offices in building strategic and sustainable partnerships. This position is part of the Partnership team and report to the Partnerships Team Lead and formally to the Institutional Director. The Grants & Partnerships Coordinator will work closely with the MERL Advisor, the Programme & Grant Management Team, and country offices. 🤝🏽 We offer: Engaging working environment within a growing organization. Salary to be determined based on agreement. 🎯 Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue funding opportunities from institutional donors, private foundations, and corporate actors. Conduct donor landscape and market analysis to identify trends, thematic priorities, and new funding opportunities. Lead the development of high-quality concept notes and proposals, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and Mission Alliance strategy. Cultivate and manage relationships with private foundations, corporate donors, chambers of commerce, industry associations, and multinational companies to unlock non-traditional funding. Support country offices with strategic donor engagement, positioning, and relationship management. Contribute to strengthening internal systems (grant tracking, databases, templates, partnership mapping). 🚀 We believe you will thrive and succeed in the role if you: Have relevant higher education and documented results in securing institutional and/or private funding. Bring experience in proposal development, donor reporting, budgeting, and results-based management. Understand development cooperation, donor compliance, and partnership coordination. Have experience engaging with the private sector (CSR partnerships, PPPs, or market-based approaches). Excel in partnership building, networking, and cross-cultural communication. Have strong English skills; Norwegian is an advantage, and Spanish is desirable. Are motivated by Mission Alliance’s values, purpose, and vision.
