We have an international supplier base providing a wide range of products and services. We consider the Sourcing and Procurement function to be an important enabler to secure value creation for the company, and the development of new and existing supplies are an area of strategic importance to the company. Who your colleagues are You will be a part of a highly talented and driven cross-functional Sourcing and Procurement team within Supply Chain and Manufacturing (SCM). Your home base will be in Forus outside Stavanger, and you get to work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the company. The position reports to the Sourcing and Procurement Manager. Why Join Laerdal Medical? make a global impact in a strategic role collaborate with talented teams across SCM drive improvements in cost, quality, and sustainability enjoy professional growth and a dynamic work environment be part of an inclusive, innovative culture As a Sourcing Engineer, you will; lead, develop, and manage suppliers as contract owner for selected component suppliers provide sourcing services to support development projects in a timely manner drive improvements in cost, service, process, sustainability, and quality support Stavanger Manufacturing with sourcing of specific components and services identify potential suppliers, conduct qualification/audits, and execute tender processes negotiate, establish supplier controls, and implement new components efficiently candidates who lack formal education but have relevant experience are also encouraged to apply Your profile you hold a relevant technical bachelor’s or master’s degree. you have motivation and a good understanding of strategic sourcing and business needs. you have minimum 3 years of relevant work experience you are fluent in English written and orally.
