You will be responsible for the contact with the business area and will ensure that their needs are understood, prioritized, and translated into actionable initiatives. You will help set the plan for changes in the product area—both in terms of working methods and IT support—and ensure initiatives are shaped into a clear, value-driven scope that the development team can deliver. This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden. Job Responsibilities In this role you will drive agile, end-to-end delivery by translating user and business needs into clear, value-based requirements and priorities—shaping initiatives into actionable scope and documentation that enables the development team and stakeholders to make informed trade-offs and deliver impactful solutions. Work in an agile way in close collaboration with the development team and be part of the whole development flow. Collect, analyze, and structure business requirements to establish business cases and define goals, scope, and boundaries for initiatives. Understand who uses our application(s), their daily workflows, needs, and pain points—and ensure these insights drive priorities and solutions. Break down larger initiatives into well-defined epics/features/user stories together with relevant stakeholders. Clarify requirements, business value, scope, risks, and consequences of different choices, and support stakeholders in making informed trade-offs. Lead assignments and conduct preliminary studies within projects that affect our business area, proactively identifying needs and improvement opportunities. Promote, demonstrate, and communicate about our application(s) to internal and external users. Who You Are We are looking for you who thrive in a broad role where you get to work with Scania's entire product flora. With many initiatives happening across the team and company, you’ll lead and coordinate multiple assignments in parallel—keeping priorities clear, progress on track, and stakeholders aligned. To thrive in this position, you need to strive to understand and communicate solutions at both an overall and detailed level. Personal qualities You build trust quickly by communicating clearly, listening well, and adapting your style to different stakeholders—from specialists to senior leaders. You take ownership and drive things forward with energy, while staying humble, grounded, and focused on what the team needs to succeed. You strengthen collaboration by creating strong relationships across levels and functions, and by bringing people along with you. You solve problems creatively with a practical mindset. You are comfortable working in complex environments with many stakeholders and questions, and you can sort what matters most when there is a lot of noise. You are able to set boundaries and make tough prioritizations—not trying to please everyone when demand is high—and you understand how decisions create consequences and trade-offs. Knowledge and expertise You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business. You have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Business IT Analyst or related roles. You write and speak fluently in both Swedish and English. If you have an understanding of Scania's service market and its needs, it is meritorious. We value your personal skills higher than your expertise and experience, since we are a team that works very tightly together and believe that we perform our best when we support each other. This Is Us The SPIAS team consists of one Product Owner and three Business IT Analysts, and is working with the application Scania Product Instance Information (SPII) that is widely used all around the world by our service market network. SPII contains and visualizes information about Scania’s products and keeps track of how they are updated during their life cycle. We are on the verge of finishing our journey to a cloud-based microservice architecture, where some work still remains. New projects and initiatives are about to start and we would like you to join us in this development. Within TRATON Group R&D, you are an important part of something bigger. Joining us means gaining access to the ins and outs of the entire transportation industry. TRATO
