Data Solution Architect (Expert)

For our client we're looking for an Experienced Solution Architect within the Information Capability domain with a focus on Data Architecture for Credit Risk.

In this role you will act as Solution Architect in the Information Capability domain and Data Architect for Credit Risk. You will translate functional and non-functional requirements into high level solution designs and define detailed solution designs at all levels, while providing architectural guidance to the project team. You will facilitate work on business requirements together with Product Owners, Process Owners, and SMEs, and collaborate closely with stakeholders, other architects, and project team members. You will create and review documentation from both business and technical architecture perspectives, and handle processes, artifacts, and documentation that describe the solution architecture.

Must-have knowledge and experience

• Experience working with architecture and technology implementation of large-scale enterprise solution architecture

• Understanding of modern application stacks incorporating both open-source and third party vendor technologies

• Experience with integration architecture and common integration patterns supporting both batch and real-time processing

• Understanding of data and information architecture, including data modelling and common data management technologies

• Understanding of security requirements and experience implementing appropriate controls as part of solutions

• Architecture modelling experience using solution modelling tools, notations, and practices

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to guide, build consensus, and work effectively in project teams

• Business acumen and understanding of banking business areas such as credit risk and credit portfolio management

Level: Expert (+10 years of experience with IT architecture)

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses using Snowflake

• Experience with ETL pipeline development using Snowflake

• Experience setting up CI/CD for ETL pipelines in Snowflake

• Experience orchestrating ETL pipelines

Contract start: 2026-04-01

Contract end: 2026-09-30

Workload: 100%

Location: Helsinki (3 days onsite)
