Devops Engineer

For Our client we're currently looking for a 'Devops Engineer'

Role Description

The team is responsible for building and operating shared IT platform services and DevOps capabilities that enable development teams across the Technology organization. The role is needed to strengthen our DevOps and platform engineering capacity, ensuring that our IT platforms are scalable, secure, reliable, and sustainable. By improving automation, developer experience, and operational stability, the role contributes to faster delivery, higher quality, and a future‑proof IT landscape that supports Tre’s overall business goals.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Develop, operate, and continuously improve shared IT platform services and DevOps capabilities. The role focuses on enabling development teams by providing reliable, secure, and scalable CI/CD pipelines, runtime environments, and automation. You will work closely with development teams, infrastructure, security, and other platform stakeholders to improve flow, stability, and developer experience.

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling for IT systems

• Improve reliability, availability, and performance of platform and IT services

• Implement and promote best practices for security, observability, and automation

• Support and enable development teams with self‑service capabilities, tooling, and guidance

• Translate platform and operational requirements into sustainable technical solutions

• Contribute to continuous improvement of ways of working, standards, and platform architecture

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role within IT

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation of build, test, and deployment workflows

• Experience working with container platforms and modern runtime environments

• Experience supporting development teams with tooling, automation, and best practices

• Used to working in agile teams and methods

• Experience in telecom

Systems

• Kubernetes / Containerization

• CI/CD (Preferably Jenkins & Github Actions)

• Scripting or automation languages (e.g. Bash, Python)

• Linux and modern runtime environments

• System administration in Linux environment

• Development with Copilot (or similar LLM)
