Test Lead

For Our client we're currently looking for a 'Test Lead'

Role Description

The Program Test Lead is responsible for driving the end-to-end testing agenda, working closely with the CRM systems integrator. The primary focus is the integration of the legacy landscape and transformation of surrounding applications, rather than the core CRM solution itself.

The scope covers a complex ecosystem where several business-critical applications (e.g. online sales and service, document management, and assisted sales and service) are built or adapted internally alongside supplier-delivered components.

Testing is executed in a DevOps-based setup with ~10 teams, requiring strong orchestration across teams rather than centralized control. The role is accountable from system test through end-to-end integration testing and into BUAT, with a strong focus on integrations, data flows, and end-to-end business processes.

A key responsibility is migration testing and data validation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation of customer data across systems.

The role will also have a responsibility to drive adoption of test automation, with a strong focus on Playwright and scalable automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end test strategy and plan, covering CRM integrations, internal applications, migration test, test data, and environments

• Lead and drive testing from system test through end-to-end integration testing and user acceptance, ensuring readiness across phases

• Define and drive migration testing and validation, including reconciliation and cross-system data integrity

• Establish and manage test environments and test data, handling complex dependencies

• Drive defect management and prioritization across teams and suppliers based on business impact Internal

• Ensure alignment with the CRM systems integrator on integration points, dependencies, and joint execution

• Provide clear test reporting, including risks, quality status, and go-live readiness

• Proactively identify and mitigate cross-team and cross-system risks

• Drive test automation strategy and adoption, leveraging Playwright and scalable automation practices

Required Competences

• Extensive experience as a Program Test Lead / Test Manager in large-scale, integration-heavy transformation programs

• Proven track record of leading testing in DevOps / agile environments with multiple parallel teams

• Strong experience in end-to-end integration and data migration testing, including reconciliation and validation

• Solid understanding of the test lifecycle from system test through E2E and BUAT

• Experience managing test environments and test data in complex, dependency-heavy setups

Skills

• Strong execution drive — a “terrier” who pushes progress across teams and closes gaps

• Ability to combine hands-on delivery leadership with structured, program-level planning

• Excellent stakeholder management, including program and executive reporting

• Ability to prioritize based on business impact in a fast-moving environment

• Comfortable operating in high-complexity, high-pressure environments

Nice to haves

• Experience with channel applications such as eCommerce, self-service, or assisted service solutions

• Experience from telecom operator environments, preferably in large-scale transformation or CRM programs, or billing replacements
