Java Developer (Core Java, Trading Systems)

We are hiring a Java Developer to work for a well-established US Nasdaq-listed financial services company. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely, joining a development group tasked with building and enhancing a mission-critical platform for scalable, real-time execution. You will be developing high-throughput, low-latency, event-driven multithreaded applications leveraging Core Java and large-scale distributed real-time systems architecture. Primary responsibilities include creating new features, adapting existing re-usable components, optimizing market data communication, and upgrading current software to ensure product performance and quality expectations are met. Please note that the working hours must overlap with New York business hours. We strongly prefer a full 8-hour overlap (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM US Eastern Time), but require a minimum of 6 hours of overlap during this window.
