ABOUT THE JOB As a Financial Analyst / M&A Consultant, you will play a central role in supporting and driving Nextview’s acquisition strategy across Europe. This is a hybrid position that blends core M&A consulting responsibilities with broader financial analysis work, offering an exciting opportunity to further develop your analytical and commercial skill set. The role is designed for someone who already brings hands-on experience in M&A, especially in due diligence, valuation, and financial modelling, while also being eager to expand their capabilities within a broader financial analyst context. Over the next years, Nextview anticipates completing 1-2 acquisitions, with additional opportunities emerging as part of our long-term growth vision. You will collaborate closely with our internal finance team and external M&A advisors (activated at later transactional stages), ensuring you are fully involved without needing to independently lead the entire end-to-end process. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Your time will be split roughly 50% on M&A work and 50% on financial analysis and ad-hoc strategic projects, giving you a diverse and challenging scope. M&A Focus (approx. 50%) Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence for potential acquisition targets.Perform DCF analyses, comparable company analyses (CCA), and precedent transaction analyses (PTA).Assist in monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify potential acquisition opportunities across EU markets.Prepare presentations, investment memorandums, and decision-making materials for leadership.Contribute to the assessment and refinement of strategic growth opportunities as we expand our European footprint.Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including legal, operations, and leadership to support acquisition execution.Partner with our external M&A advisors during later transaction phases. ABOUT YOU You are someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with the curiosity and drive to explore a broad range of financial and strategic challenges. You enjoy the fast-paced nature of M&A work but also value having a varied scope that lets you grow beyond pure transactional responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.3–5 years of work experience, ideally blending financial analysis with hands-on M&A consulting exposure - particularly in valuation, modelling, and due diligence.Proven experience working with financial models and supporting strategic recommendations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear insights.Strong communication and presentation abilities, able to tailor messaging to both financial and non-financial audiences.Language skills: Dutch is a nice-to-have; German or Swedish would be an advantage but not essential.Based in the Netherlands, ideally with the ability to be in Eindhoven two days per week.
