ABOUT THE JOB At Nextview Consulting, we believe that design-led innovation is only as strong as your ability to understand the possibilities of the technology that powers it. We are looking for a Head of Technology, a role designed for a "Field CTO" who possesses the ability to navigate high-level business strategy and deep-tech architecture with equal ease. As a Senior Manager / Director-level leader reporting directly to the Chief Consulting Officer (CCO), you are the ultimate custodian of our consultancy technical vision and capabilities. You will lead and coach the Practice Manager Data, Analytics & AI and the Practice Manager Platform & Integration and their teams, ensuring our largest technical domains are not only profitable but pioneering. You are a believable and trustworthy visionary who has the war stories to prove it. Whether you are on stage at a Salesforce event, in a boardroom with a CIO, or refining our internal AI-driven delivery models, you represent the gold standard of technical excellence at Nextview. You give the right example by being strongly certified in Salesforce and potentially aligning ecosystems. A STRATEGIC ROLE The Head of Technology is a dual role: a strategic architect of our technology innovation and go-to-market, combined with an operational leader of our technical delivery, quality and reliability. You are responsible for ensuring our business line remains future-ready, competitive, and highly profitable while fostering a culture where our technical talent can thrive. In this role, you will: Drive the Vision: Shape the long-term direction of our technical offerings, specifically focusing on how Data, Analytics & AI, Salesforce Platform, and modern Integration architectures transform our clients’ businesses and change our own way-of-working.Be the Market Face: Act as a high-profile brand ambassador, building deep relationships with senior IT leaders and Salesforce executives on the Technology and Products side.Accelerate Market growth: Translate market opportunities into compelling commercial propositions, leading complex negotiations with clients and stakeholder teams to successfully close high-value deals, while remaining accountable for operational KPIs, including utilization, asset & knowledge building, and delivery quality. Help our Commercial Experts to identify, create and drive opportunities for (new) Salesforce products in the marketplace.Strategic Execution: Help translate our One Page Strategic Plan into actionable "Rocks" (priorities), and development plans mobilizing the organization to achieve high-impact outcomes.Operational Accountability: Oversee workforce planning, hiring needs, and performance management across your practices to ensure we are scaled for success. Market Positioning: Develop a clear vision for our technical domains to drive growth, steer profitability, and ensure we remain a differentiated pureplay leader. Be the expert in owned and allied multimedia Marketing campaigns (webinars, video’s, blogs)Salesforce Partnership: Represent Nextview at industry events, conferences, Partner Advisory Boards and executive forums to enhance our visibility and influence. Skill Growth: Take accountability for the development of specialist skills and certifications, ensuring our teams stay ahead of market trends. ABOUT YOU Note: This is a senior leadership position. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of managing managers and influencing at the C-suite level. English is essential, and a second language in our markets will help you be more effective (Netherlands, Germany, Sweden). Executive Presence: You have the gravitas to be a credible sparring partner for CIOs and CTOs. You can simplify complex technical landscapes into strategic business roadmaps.Technical Visionary: You possess deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem as well as Generic and industry-wide IT best practices, with gravitas in the realms of Data, Analytics & AI, and enterprise architecture that goes beyond the Salesforce platform to truly advise clients on how to meet their strategic goalsLeadership Maturity: You have extensive experience at a Senior Manager or up within a consultancy, including direct experience managing P&L, utilization, and people development.Commercial & Business Development Mindset: You are an early adopter of technology (AI-powered tools, etc.) and know how to use it to create market demand, supercharge productivity and innovation to deliver profitable services revenue and success to customers. Strategic & Operational Balance: You are comfortable alternating between high-level annual planning and the "nuts and bolts" of operational efficiency and standardisation.Education: Master’s degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Engineering or a related technical field, combined with 10+ years of relevant experience.
