About the Role
We are looking for a Front‑end Developer (React/TypeScript) to join a long‑term assignment for a major UK‑based global life‑science organisation. You will help build and maintain modern, cloud‑native digital solutions supporting scientific, operational, and commercial teams across multiple international locations. This role is ideal for an engineer who values autonomy, clean engineering practices, and meaningful projects that positively impact global healthcare and research.
What You Will Do
- Develop modern, performant front‑end features using React, TypeScript, hooks, state management, component architecture
- Integrate with backend services and APIs (REST), and collaborate closely with backend engineers
- Ensure high‑quality UI implementation with design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive layouts
- Work with modern tooling such as Webpack/Vite, ESLint/Prettier, package managers, testing frameworks
- Contribute to front‑end build tooling using Node.js (scripts, tooling, lightweight services)
- Support FE‑BE integration in cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions
- Follow best engineering practices: clean code, modular design, documentation, testing
- Work in an agile, cross‑functional, internationally distributed environment
Who You Are
- Strong Front‑end Developer with solid experience in React, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiar with Node.js, modern FE tooling and testing frameworks
- Comfortable working with Python as a supporting skill in cross‑functional environments
- Understanding of databases (Postgres, Snowflake, DynamoDB)
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP)
- Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments, Bash scripting
- Proactive, self‑driven, and able to propose improvements
- Strong communication skills; comfortable in international teams
- Fluent English (C1)
- Located in Czechia or Slovakia
- available within one month
- Nice to have:
- Mid/Senior‑level experience in a similar FE role
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask)
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Jest
- Interest in the Life Sciences / Drug Discovery domain

- Location: Czechia or Slovakia (remote)
- Contract: B2B
- Salary: 6.200–7.000 CZK/MD (255–290€)
