YOU WILL
You will join Alfdex’s Supply Chain organization, a team of around 10 people with purchasing, logistics and supplier development represented both in Landskrona and internationally. As Supplier Development Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring that our suppliers meet Alfdex’s requirements throughout the product lifecycle
- from development to series production
- in a phase where the number of suppliers is growing and new components are continuously being introduced. The role is highly hands-on and project-oriented, with a strong focus on supplier development, audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement. You will work closely with purchasing, R&D, quality, production and suppliers worldwide, coordinating activities across regions including Europe, the US and China. Your responsibilities will include:
- Continuously monitor supplier performance and collect compliance data
- Drive improvements of Alfdex’s quality tools, processes and ways of working, balancing quality with cost and performance
- Lead and conduct supplier audits and internal audits across the organization
- Coordinate design reviews, APQP and PPAP processes together with suppliers
- Ensure delivered components meet specifications, drawings and quality requirements throughout development and pre-series
- Manage supplier-related deviations and complaints for prototypes and pre-series, including root cause analysis, countermeasures and performance follow-up
YOU ARE
We are looking for a pragmatic and solution-oriented quality professional who enjoys working in a hands-on, operational role close to both suppliers and internal stakeholders. You are structured, goal-oriented and able to take initiative independently, while also valuing collaboration and clear communication. You have a strong practical mindset and a natural sense for assessing supplier quality and identifying risks and is comfortable taking responsibility in an environment with freedom under responsibility, where priorities may shift and challenges are handled with judgement and flexibility. You have several years of experience from quality work within manufacturing, preferably in an international context, and are used to working with international suppliers and conducting audits independently. You are confident in reading technical drawings and understand how quality, cost and performance interact across the supply chain. You hold a university degree within engineering, quality or a related technical field, have experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949, and communicate fluently in English; Swedish is an advantage.
