Weighbridge Officer

Job Description Weigh inbound and outbound trucks and accurately record their gross and tare weights. Enter all relevant data into the weighbridge system, such as product details and truck information Issue weigh-in tickets or offloading advice slips to truck drivers. Receive and retain all necessary documentation, such as waybills, for record-keeping Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports on weighbridge activities and highlight any unresolved issues for supervisors. Communicate effectively with truck drivers, logistics staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations Conduct regular inspections of weighbridge equipment and report any malfunctions. Ensure that the weighing process adheres to site rules, industry standards, and health and safety regulations Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in business administration or its equivalent. Good interpersonal communication skills Computer savvy.
