Job Summary The Store Keeper is responsible for the efficient management of the company’s store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking inventory. The role ensures accuracy in stock records, proper documentation, and timely supply of materials to support smooth operational workflow. The Store Keeper also maintains a safe and organized store environment while complying with company procedures and audit requirements. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming materials, verify quality and quantity, and update stock records. Maintain accurate inventory using stock cards, bin cards, or inventory software. Issue materials to departments based on authorized requests. Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and report items that need replenishment. Ensure proper labeling, safe storage, and easy retrieval of materials. Keep the store area clean, well-organized, and secure. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports. Assist in the loading and unloading of goods as required. Support audit activities by providing accurate inventory documentation. Qualifications & Requirements Education: SSCE / OND / HND in: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Inventory/Store Management, Accounting, or any related field Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory control. Experience with stock management systems is an added advantage. Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills Basic knowledge of inventory and stock control procedures Ability to use Excel or inventory management software High level of accuracy and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Physical ability to handle materials where necessary Integrity, reliability, and accountability.
