We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory team. The successful candidate will support clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters related to capital markets transactions, including IPOs, debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other related activities. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a high pressure, fast-paced work environment. Roles & Responsibilities As a member of the Capital Markets practice within CMAAS, you will assist clients with accounting and financial reporting requirements related to initial public offerings (IPOs), bond issuances, mergers and acquisitions, and other technical accounting issues and capital market transactions. Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, tax, and valuation specialists to ensure accurate and compliant reporting. Support due diligence processes by analyzing financial data and identifying accounting risks and issues. Provide technical accounting advice to clients and internal teams on complex transactions and interpretations of accounting standards. Support with drafting and review offering memorandums, prospectuses, and other regulatory filings. Participate in client meetings and presentations, contributing technical insights and solutions. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work. Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards, regulatory developments, and industry’s best practices. Our main areas of focus within the capital markets team include: Capital markets such as IPOs, spins, debt raisings and capital structure advice; Acquisitions, Alliances such as enter/exit JVs, strategic alliances, licenses, collaborations, etc; Divestitures; Restructurings and restatements; GAAP conversions, changes in accounting standards Position Requirements Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 3-5 years Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other business field of study, including an acceptable NASBA foreign education equivalent.
