Senior Asset Document Controller
Description
Qualification required B.Sc. / B.Eng. / HND + 10yrs plus relevant working experience + Data Management certification(s) in relevant areas. Ten (10) years Minimum working experience in any offshore production facility FPSO. Proficient in the use of SAP-Material Management Module and Microsoft office. Effective communication in written and spoken English. Experience Not less than 10 years engineering experience Not less than 5 years’ document controller experience in the Oil and Gas or Engineering Industry Good Communication Skills Knowledge of reading drawings and interpreting drawings would be an added advantage Proven experience supporting brownfield and greenfield projects as well as operating assets. Strong understanding of oil & gas engineering documentation and asset lifecyclerequirements. Key Responsibilities Develop & maintain document mgt system/control processes for product documentation and ISO certified management system. Serve as the district document and data custodian(s) creating and maintaining livelink workspace and the EDMS. Maintain the production asset document control library (manual/electronic files) consisting of product related documentation, drawings, technical manuals, product/process software, external standards, validation reports, HSE and training records, internal and external audit reports and department procedures and work instructions. Ensure that documents are revised and processed in a timely manner, according to the change control process, managing variety & version control. Provide inputs from plant operating experience necessary to effectively update current plant operating manuals as may be required. Effectively manage book loans and document delivery to ensure no losses. Interface effectively with project team on related documents/manual. Manage handover of technical manuals/documents from the project to the asset team. Track outstanding brown field scope project manuals. Carry out proper tagging of all documents, manual racks etc. and establish electronic links to manage them. Run the EPG pilot of the GLMS system and serve as super users. Manage the upgrade of existing library as a fall out of their reports on its inadequacy following numerous projects. Act as focal point for EPG File-Plan project. Collate and analyze production and maintenance performance data against PEB business plan district. Management of projects library, general administrative activities, mail collection, dispatch and delivery, document control, flight booking and in emergency serve as back up HLO/HLAs. Putting in place an efficient data management system to enhance a flawless handover and effective management of the system, post commissioning and project delivery. Receiving and coding of all project documentation under a structured Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) and Document Archiving /Retrieval System
