The Sales Associate
- SMB is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing sales opportunities within the small and medium-sized business segment. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships. Key Responsibilities Identify and prospect new SMB clients through outbound calls, emails, and networking Qualify leads and convert them into paying customers Present and demonstrate products/services to potential clients Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM systems Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to improve customer acquisition and retention Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in SMB or B2B sales Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM) Ability to work independently and in a team environment High level of motivation, resilience, and goal orientation Key Competencies Sales acumen and commercial awareness Relationship building and customer focus Persuasion and negotiation skills Time management and organization Problem-solving mindset
