Job Summary The Regional Sales and Activation Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, brand visibility, and market penetration for the company’s wine and whiskey portfolio within the assigned region. The role involves managing distributor relationships, overseeing sales teams, executing brand activations, and ensuring consistent market presence across key channels, including retail, on-trade, and events. Key Responsibilities Sales Growth and Market Expansion: Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets for wine and whiskey products. Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution channels within the region. Drive product penetration in key outlets including supermarkets, bars, lounges, restaurants, and liquor stores. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met. Brand Activation and Visibility: Plan, coordinate, and execute brand activations, tastings, promotional events, and marketing campaigns across the region. Ensure strong brand presence through merchandising, point-of-sale materials, and promotional displays. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement national campaigns at the regional level. Distributor and Channel Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key trade partners. Monitor distributor performance and ensure effective stock availability and market coverage. Conduct regular market visits to ensure compliance with brand standards and pricing strategies. Team Leadership and Performance Management: Supervise and manage Regional Sales Executives, Brand Ambassadors, and Activation teams. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure team productivity. Set clear targets and track team performance against sales and activation objectives. Market Intelligence and Reporting: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences. Provide regular sales reports, activation reports, and market insights to management. Use market data to refine sales strategies and improve brand positioning. Budget and Resource Management: Manage regional activation and sales budgets effectively. Ensure cost-efficient execution of promotional activities and events. Track ROI on marketing activations and sales initiatives.
