Description Uphorial Fm is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and versatile Radio Presenter who can also act as an in-house Voice-Over Artist. T he ideal candidate will host a captivating, high-energy live radio show while leveraging their vocal talents to produce high-quality commercials, station promos, and imaging. You must be technically proficient in studio equipment and audio editing software, acting as a "producer-presenter" who can handle both on-air and off-air creative tasks. Primary Responsibilities Radio Presenting (60-70%): Host a daily/weekly radio show, entertaining and engaging listeners with relevant topics, music, and community news. Research and prepare show content, scripting links, and brainstorming engaging segments. Conduct live interviews with guests, celebrities, or listeners. "Drive" the desk, operating studio mixing desks, broadcasting software, and automation systems to ensure smooth, high-quality audio output. Actively engage with the audience via social media and phone calls during the show. Represent the station at community events and station-sponsored functions Voice-Over & Production (30-40%): Record voice-overs for radio commercials, station imaging, promos, and sweepers. Adapt vocal tone to suit different brands, characters, or atmospheric styles. Self-produce high-quality audio files, including editing, mixing, and mastering (using Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar). Collaborate with the production team to develop creative concepts for audio campaigns. Meet tight deadlines for commercial client deliveries. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Media Studies, or related field preferred Experience: 2+ years of professional radio experience, with a proven track record of on-air presenting. Voiceover: Proven voice-over experience with a strong demo reel showcasing a range of styles (commercial, narrative, energetic). Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of radio broadcasting equipment and Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition or Pro Tools. Vocal Range: Exceptional vocal clarity, diction, and modulation skills. Versatility: Ability to switch between a natural, conversational radio voice and a polished, professional, or "announcer-style" voice. Adaptability: Quick thinking and ability to ad-lib, improvisation skills. Key Competencies: Creativity: Able to generate original ideas for segments and promos. Time Management: Capable of juggling live show prep with commercial voice-over deadlines. Teamwork: Professional attitude and ability to collaborate with producers and station staff. Working Conditions Hours: Irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the slot. Environment: Studio-based, with occasional on-location broadcasting.
