Job Summary: Experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility. A hands-on leader capable of managing all aspects of the physical building, supervising support staff, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires independent decision-making, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage vendor relationships. Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the building, including coordinating repairs, managing service providers, and ensuring all equipment (e.g., plumbing and electrical) is in excellent working condition. Directly supervise support staff, including cleaners, security personnel, and maintenance workers. This includes creating duty rosters, asg tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure high standards of discipline and service delivery. Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors for specialized services, negotiate contracts, and ensure all work is completed to specification and on budget. Implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and workplace regulations. Manage risk and maintain a secure environment. Manage office space allocations, maintain an inventory of facility-related supplies and equipment, and oversee procurement as needed. Assist in developing and managing the facility's operational budget, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
