JOB PURPOSE The Operations Director is responsible for the Operations Iproject management, data collection and quality through to data delivery) of the business on a strategic and overall level. Responsible for driving strategic direction of Operations departments ensuring that the relevant teams are geared to effectively and efficiently handle the business brought in by SL In all aspects across Nigeria. Local & Regional: Effectively manages the team leaders and ensures proper resourcing on time and quality delivery of all operational tasks. Responsible for the strategic planning and budgeting for the Operations business unit. Acts as a consultant on Operational areas to the Service Lines Leaders In Nigeria Global: Ensures that the Local Operations tools, processes and practices are in full alignment with the global strategic practices and tools-Smoothly manages the relationships between local business and global business(e.g. Data Delivery hubs) PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Technologically and analytically proficient with the ability to identify and implement appropriate software to provide optimal solutions Knowledge & experience of Data Collection, Project Management, Quality, Scripting & Data Processing, Data Protection, 150 Must be proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Microsoft excel, and Microsoft word. KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES To assist & help to develop and lead the strategic long-term plan for the Operations department and contribute to the company's direction. Provide clients with exceptional customer service and ensure continuous review of pricing model to remain highly competitive vs our main competitors and market trends Provide sound advice and support the Operations Management Team and the Service Lines teams and ensure key data capture staff are supported in the compliation of complex project briefs. Contribute to data capture review meetings and trouble- shoot as necessary to ensure timely achievement of scheduled targets. Ensure the quality of date capture processes meet required standards and evaluate new processes and equipment Monitor and respond to ongoing and changing data capture requirements of the business. Lead the recruitment process to recruit key skills and ensure operational efficiency is maintained at al times. Conduct performance reviews and design staff development plans for Internal Managers; assist with the department staff development plans-Carry out appropriate performance management activities. Motivate and coach team members against critical competencies/behaviours in order to ensure retention and growth of department staff. Keep well-informed of current trends within the market research systems and technology, In order to maintain personal knowledge updated to cost-effective solutions to the business Manage the Nigerian team to: carry out all work and activities to Company standards and best practices meeting time, budget and quality requirements carry out tasks displaying well developed data collation and
